CompareMyVM is a free tool that allows you to compare your VMware ESX Server virtual machine resource allocations with that of the community at large. You can compare by application category to see how your peers are allocating resources to gain the most efficiency out of their environments. Your submissions are anonymous.
Basically, if you are unsure how a deployed application will work virtualized, or are looking for benchmarks of a virtualized application, you can start your search here.
As it’s a new site, it’s not got a lot of data to browse just yet, but in time, this could prove very useful.
