Rather than post several follow-ups to the same post, it is likely best to collect all of my available resources into a single page. In keeping with that, this page will contain everything I have found or have been linked to for the VMware Certified Professional 4 (VCP4) certification.

Regarding the Exam Experience from Rich Scherer:
> It would definitely benefit you to know
> about Paravirtualization,
> NPIV, iSCSI, Fault Tolerance, Host
> Profiles and dvSwitches.
Paravirtualization, NPIV, and a few other topics are *NOT* part of the Exam Blue Print.
How come these topics are featured on the Exam?
Thanks!
Virtual Guy,
The Bluprint for VCP4, as found here: http://mylearn.vmware.com/lcms/mL_faq/2726/VMwa…
Objective 1.4 – Install VMware ESX on SAN Storage (Configure FC or iSCSI)
Objective 2.2 – Configure vNetwork Distributed Switches
Objective 6.2 – Establish and Apply ESX Host Profiles
Objective 7.2 – Enable a Fault Tolerant VM
Some of them are on there, some of them are not. Mr. Rich Scherer was providing some insight into his experience in having taken a beta exam that helped develop the blueprint for the final VCP4. As it stands, we're still waiting for the first available exam date for the VCP4, as such, some of the material is still subject to change.
Hope this helps.
