As I mentioned, I am not going to VMworld EMEA this year. For this quarter I must content myself with going to vForum in Sydney. This is a big vForum, two days long and over five thousand people attending making it about half the size of VMworld EMA. This year for the first time I’m a speaker as one of my VMware TAM friends has got an AutoLab session accepted.
I’ll also be busy with community, on the night before the show I’m organizing VMDownUnderground which is our version of VMUnderground. If you will be at vForum Sydney then register for VMDownUnderground and come along to meet other community people. The party is made possible by the awesome sponsorship of Veeam, Netapp and VMUG.
The other community aspect to vForum will be TechTalks, just like at VMworld these are an opportunity for community members to share a little of their knowledge with the rest of the community. It is not too late to register to present a TechTalk, just fill out the form here or for more information look at this blog post. TechTalks at vForum Sydney are sponsored by our friends at Nutanix.
vForum in Sydney is a great event, most of it is free to attend and I always have a great time at the show. Hope to see you there.
