The vBrownBag Team had a great time at VMworld 2013 with the live tech talks and with meeting many of our webcast attendees and listeners. The week before, though, a few of us actually attended another IT conference that happened in San Francisco: PuppetConf 2013.
VMware’s vCloud Hybrid Service (vCHS) is leveraging Puppet in its automation workflows, and we were interested to see how VMware’s application of the technology could help us out with our routine administrative tasks.
Nick Weaver was on hand to announce the new automation platform for vCHS (aka #ProjectZombie) to the crowd at PuppetConf, and it was pretty cool to get a preview of some the big announcements that he would be speaking about in more detail at his VMworld session on Wednesday (PHC5640).
Nick sat down with the #vBrownBag Team to share some of his insights on vCHS, Automation, as well as to provide some teasers for this week’s vCHS-related announcements.
