Ravi Venkat was part of the vBrownBag Month of Storage with, not just one, but two segments in March 2012. He agreed to sit down with us and to share more of his industry insights in a vBrownBag Presenter Spotlight session.
If there was a Who’s Who for the Virtualization & Cloud community, you might see Ravi’s name there. He is a Virtualization Solutions Architect at Pure Storage, with former posts at Cisco, VMware, and other familiar names in the industry, guiding research & development in storage technology.
Ravi specializes in the applications of flash storage for VDI deployments and for other virtualization use cases. We also learned that he is a bit of an accomplished chef.
