If you rolled out vCO before the vApp was released, the upgrade path is a bit different than “click here to upgrade”. Here’s the steps:
- Snapshot/Clone or otherwise backup vCO and your database.
- Launch the VCO installer (install media \ vCenter-Server\vCO):
- Click upgrade:
- Next:
- Change the SSL Keys (up to you):
- Next
- Next
- Click install, get some coffee:
- Load the vCO configuration page, select Database, Upgrade:
- Start the vCO Service and you are done!
