I recently fell down the rabbit hole of VMware Aria Automation Config, and started playing around with it. In the course of doing that, I’ve come across a few fun and quirky ways to manage the SaltStack minions, and use them in unexpected ways, like dynamic reconfiguration of minions, and fun ways to automate software installation in VMs.
