I have VI Toolkit + PowerShell + .NET + PowerGUI on a thinapp. I carry it with me on my USB key.
Cool!
I'm TRYING to get clients (and sales for that matter) to show ThinApp some love! I think it is a great little app and I would love to begin adding ThinApp'd Applications to my customer's XenApp builds but haven't gotten the right people to bite yet. 🙁
I seriously think it is one of VMware's most underrated technologies.
Carlo.
The company I work is about to use it because we have some crappy web apps that require IE6. Thinapp is the only application virtualization product that was evaluated that was able to handle IE. It will also be used heavily once we go to Windows 7.
Cody,
I am just installing the standalone version of Converter and it struck me that VMware is NOT using ThinApp to its fullest! I find it so odd that they don't distribute ThinApp'd versions of some of their utility installations!?! For a free product like Converter, why not show the power and flexibility of ThinApp by allowing people to download and click the exe to run the software. Why do I have to sit through these MSI installations on my computer. 🙂
Just a thought. Save me the time of ThinApping them myself.

I used Thinapp to put out Internet Explorer 8 for testing. In our envrironment it would only be allowed on a development mahcine but thanks to thinapp we were able to launch it to several people on there production machines for testing.
I made a thinapp of thinapp.
Ok fine I will register.
Registration is a 'Disqus” thing. The comment system for the blog. Sorry.
No worries.
I really don't have an idea about it.. Can someone explain about this thing??
