Hi I am Alastair Cooke. I am very pleased to be joining Cody in blogging here at ProfessionalVMware. Some of you will know me from hosting the APAC edition of the vBrownBag podcasts which have focussed on the VCAP5-DCD certification. You may even have seen my blog at www.demitasse.co.nz
I’m a self employed VMware Trainer and occasional consultant, based in small town New Zealand. My work takes me to cities all over New Zealand and Australia. I spend time with the people who are implementing and maintaining virtualized systems at large and small organizations.
On ProfessionalVMware I will be blogging about technical aspects of building and operating a virtualized environment as well as certification and certification preparation. There are a couple of projects I’ve been working on over the last few months that will be released to the community.
On Demitasse I will be focussed more on things that are relevant to the region where I live, such as local vBeers events, VMUG meetings and sessions of the APAC Virtualization Podcast which I host.
The transition to multiple authors here at ProfessionalVMware will take a little getting used to and I hope I can live up to the standard of Cody’s material.
