First and foremost thank to all of our listeners and supporters and to VMware Press and Packt Publishing for supporting this contest. We asked you why you wanted to win the books you requested here were some of my favorites:
vSphere Design Best Practices – In my day to day work, I routinely design, build and upgrade vSphere environments- Having the best practices book nearby will be helpful when I need something just a little bit different. – Pete Fluty
Disaster Recovery using VMware vSphere Replication and vCenter Site Recovery Manager – I hunger for knowledge on expanding my VMware abilities. I read a lot of knowledgebase articles as well as white papers on VMware, but would really love to jump in deeper. – Jonathan Pierce
Haskell Data Analysis Cookbook – Never heard of it and I followed the link to read more about the book. Looks super useful and can solve some challenges for me. Mostly, I love learning about new stuff 🙂 – Rob Girard
DevOps for VMware Admins – need to start learning these toolkits and methodologies to stay relevant. – Dan Barr
Essential Virtual SAN (VSAN) – I am the systems administrator for the ISD720. The books will help to improve our SAN and 100% VMWare environment and as a result benefit the children’s education. – Kyle Esse
I’d like to again thank everyone who entered and supports the #vBrownBag. Without further adieu the official winner list is (I’ll be reaching out to coordinate shipping with each of you soon)…
