Just a few notes to help myself remember.
- To use a serial connection (Cisco / Arista) attached to a server:
sudo screen /dev/ttyS0 9600 (Where ttyS0 is the port it’s attached to) - ethtool – Because 10gig hates me:
ethtool -s eth4 autoneg off speed 10000 duplex full - On a new switch, remember to enable spanning tree on the ports you’ll be using.
